Moment of Clarity #5

"That's as hard as finding a needle in a hay stack"

Finding a needle in a hay stack is not so much difficult as much as it is time consuming. With a little devotion and a magnifying glass, you'd be surprised at what you can achieve.

The thing about it is, if you're going through that haystack and there's a needle in there, you just might prick yourself. I think the meaning of the phrase should be changed. Finding a needle in a haystack shouldn't mean looking for something that's hard to find, it should mean looking for something that just might hurt you if you find it before you expect.

You *would* spend an afternoon doing something compulsive and anal like looking for a needle in a haystack, Baron! It's so typical of you people, you Law & Order guest stars with two silent consonants in a row in your names...
